This site introduces Bender, a fictional character inspired by Kyle’s real dog. AI character artwork and original photographs are labelled separately. Original studio photography credits are retained.

Your visit

The site does not add advertising trackers, analytics scripts, visitor accounts or browser cookies. Netlify hosts the site and may process ordinary request information, including IP addresses and technical logs, to deliver and protect it.

The complaints desk

Sending a question, including a suggested question, sends your message and up to four recent exchanges through our Netlify server to OpenAI to generate a reply. Please leave out sensitive personal information. The site keeps this conversation in the current page’s memory only; reloading or choosing “Start over” clears that local conversation. Clearing it cannot recall requests already sent to service providers. Bender does not remember visitors across visits.

We do not keep an application chat database or intentionally log message content. OpenAI response storage is disabled for these requests, but provider security and operational retention may still apply under OpenAI’s API data policies. Netlify processes request information, including IP addresses, for hosting and rate limiting. A request limit helps keep the desk available to everyone.

Bender is an AI character and can make mistakes. His replies are for conversation and light perspective, not professional advice.

Sharing an observation

The “Borrow this observation” buttons copy only the displayed text to your clipboard when you choose them. External links lead to other websites with their own privacy practices.

Bender’s memories

Kyle’s private source material and family archive are not published on this site. Visitors cannot change Bender’s approved biography or his human’s private memories.
