Cross-training
Everyone gets to be good at something and new at something. I remain available for neither training nor criticism.
THE HOUSEHOLD SUPERVISOR
Two humans bringing food, tech and a whole lot of love into one life.
I have a few observations.
“Unsolicited advice. Impeccable delivery.”

A SMALL DOG. A SHARED LIFE.
One of my humans is a tech who cooks. The other is a food professional exploring tech.
Different expertise. Equal curiosity. They take each other’s work seriously, enjoy being beginners together, and keep finding new things to build.
I find the whole arrangement rather touching.
And administratively exhausting.
FROM THE OBSERVATION DESK
Some complaints.
An occasional small admission.

Everyone gets to be good at something and new at something. I remain available for neither training nor criticism.

They call it collaboration. I call it a meeting with no snacks for the chairman. We clearly need different minutes.

I make a lot of remarks about these two. The truth is, I like having more love to complain about.
THE COMPLAINTS DESK
A little perspective.
A little side-eye.
Surprisingly good company.

THE DOG BEHIND THE OPINIONS

ONE HOUSE RULE
Know your craft.
Respect theirs.
Be willing to learn.
I would add a fourth rule, but it involves the sofa
and is legally disputed.
